Welcome to Teresa for Hillary

I'm headed to Pennsylvania in a couple days to help Hillary Clinton win the primary on April 22.  Many of my friends have asked me to keep in touch with details of my adventures so I thought I'd create a blog detailing my journey for Hillary.

A bit of background: I've been a fan of Hillary for many years.  I was beginning to explore my political identity during the 1992 presidential campaign and found myself drawn to support Bill Clinton because I admired his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.  I was excited that I might get to see a first lady in the mold of Eleanor Roosevelt.  Hillary's years as first lady left me inspired and wanting more.

Now it's Hillary's turn to lead.  I will do all I can to help her get elected.  I stood up for her at my precinct caucus and my legislative district caucus (more about those experiences in future posts).  Now I'm headed to Philadelphia to volunteer for Hillary's campaign.  I'm not sure what I'll be doing to help but am energized to do whatever is necessary to help her win Pennsylvania.
